The Yahoo Stage SXSW
I had the pleasure to do some contracting with Freeman XP out of NYC a few years back. One of the projects I got to work on was the Yahoo space for SXSW in 2015. My job was to create a plan for an entire floor of a building. There had to be a cozy stage, areas for lounging and art and of course VR booths for game play.
The Pitch:
Pitches often happen fast. This one was no exception for me. I was pulled in to create a floor plan and to bring it to life. Instead of doing a typical deck this pitch was made as a website. The result, Yahoo hired Freeman XP and the plans were built. I wasn't able to attend SXSW that year but I did hear the space was amazing and the client was very pleased.
